I so “get” what the Akashic Books do. A fabulous idea. This collection kind of makes the grade in 6 or 7 of the stories but the others fall a bit short. Loved the Melting Pot and Roman Holidays. Thought the opening story Pasolini’s Shadow missed the mark and it took a bit of doing to pick up from there. But overall glad I read it and there are some glorious descriptions of the Eternal City. Definitely an interesting read if you are a lover of Bella Roma.
