This month we are very pleased to offer three great novels set in this fabulous country as the prize in our competition.
Fieldwork by Mischa Berlinski. A deep and rich novel set among the hill tribes of Northern Thailand. Take a trip to the Golden Triangle – we had the most amazing slow cooked pork in the hills. Learn how to cook authentic green thai curry (amazing) – take a trip to Phi Phi and the famous beach – it is stunning. Equally spend a few days in Bangkok – the Golden Palace is like nothing else on earth.
I haven’t had the chance to visit Thailand yet. I’m sure these books will put a story to the places I have heard of.
Crossing my fingers!
I’m currently planning my first trip to Thailand and would love some escapism of the place I’m going to go to. Looking forward to seeing the Sleeping Buddha and just emmersing my self in the culture, food and way of life that is different to my norm. Seeing the changes of landscapes and atmospheres of each individual place makes it an exciting adventure that will be one of a lifetime.
I haven’t been to Thailand yet but many of my friends have. They always send postcards and picture from Krabi Beach so I’m guessing that’s the place to go!
I’ve never been to Thailand, my niece went backpacking there though and posted lots of photos, it looks magnificent and like paradise on earth!
Sadly I have never been lucky enough to visit Thailand yet, I would love to visit Bangkok and sample the amazing street foods x

Visited Bangkok, Chang Mai and Koh Samui 30 years ago – one of the most beautiful places ever. Returning to Thailand for the first time since this Summer with my husband – this time to Koh Lanta – can’t wait- these books look like the perfect preparation!!

Since I’ve been to this exotic country- Thailand. I think if someone is planning to visit Thailand, then there are few must-see places that you can’t miss, especially those oh-so-gorgeous islands.
Please don’t forget to visit the gorgeous beaches in Krabi and Phuket, where the white sand and the blue sky will allure you to your fullest desire.
Bangkok, you can’t miss the most popular city in the world when visiting Thailand. From shopping in the flea markets to taking a boat ride in the back waters of the floating market amidst the hustle-bustle of the city to trying out spa and fish spa and a lot of new adventure.
No one leaves Bangkok without paying a visit to the Tiger Kingdom where you’;re allowed to feed the tigers from your own hand and also you are allowed to take selfies with them! Just kidding the last part! And since this Tiger Kingdom is in the Chiang Mai district of Bangkok, you can visit to a lot of innovative places and temples like the Umbrella Garden or something. And there is also one historical park, I don’t remember the name, and also inside the city of Bangkok, I visited a temple where the Buddha was in a lying posture and is made of 24-carat gold!
If I go to Thailand again, then I would love to visit Krabi one more time, some of the most beautiful beaches are there in Krabi, and I can never forgot those breath-taking moments of my life.
