Contemporary romance set in the WYE VALLEY
Exclusive video by author L J Ross, plus exciting competition!
24th September 2017
L J (Louise) Ross is a publishing phenomenon. The first book in her DCI Ryan detective series (set in Northumberland) appeared in January 2015. Holy Island went to Number 1 in the best sellers charts. Five more books have followed, all best sellers – and the latest, Cragside, also went to the top spot. She will forever be known as the person who knocked The Girl on The Train off the top – and has so far sold over one million copies of her books. (You can catch her talking about location on our blog!).
We are therefore extraordinarily delighted that Louise agreed to make a video exclusively for TripFiction. In it she brilliantly describes the locations in Northumberland she chose for her six stories. And that is not all! Louise has also donated a copy of each of the six books for a TripFiction competition to one lucky winner. The books will be signed, with a dedication of your choice. All you have to do is click on the video below and answer the simple question: “Which character in Louise’s books is ‘everyone’s favourite grandad or uncle?“. And the answer is in the video! Send your answer to:
[email protected] (do not leave your answer below, you will give the answer away to others, send us an e- mail!!!)
The competiton closes at midnight UK time on Saturday, October 7th 2017, and entries from all over the world are welcome. The first correct answer out of the hat wins the prize, and the six books will be posted out to the lucky winner.
The best of luck! Remember, it’s an international competition, answer the simple question: “Who is everyone’s favourite grandad or uncle in her books?” (answers to: [email protected]) and entries by midnight, Saturday 7th October 2017 UK time.
Yes, she is, as the Times says, “…the bestselling author you’ve never heard of”… and last year she was selling more than 10,000 books EVERY DAY!
