GIVEAWAY! – 5 copies of “The Consequences of Finding Daniel Morgan”

24th November 2019

Giveaway – 5 copies of The Consequences of Finding Daniel Morgan by Peter J Robinson.

We recently featured a very insightful #TalkingLocationWith… author Peter J Robinson, which you can find HERE, where he eulogises about the wonders of CAIRNS in Australia, one of the settings in his novel. He used to be Head of Investigations for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and therefore he observes locations through a very different lens than most of us.

GIVEAWAY - 5 copies of "The Consequences of Finding Daniel Morgan"

The Consequences of Finding Daniel Morgan, set in AUSTRALIA, MEXICO and FLORIDA

International Wildlife Expert, Phillip Royle, is recalled to Florida mid-flight to help find his missing former federal enforcement colleague, Daniel Morgan, soon finding Dan’s messy remains in a tiger pen. But what the hell was Dan doing there? With many unanswered questions, Royle finds himself paired with Charlie Lacey, and together they become embroiled in a captivating enquiry leading to California, Mexico and then outback Australia, in an investigation involving smuggled parrots and drugs.

But for all his specialist knowledge, Royle knows that no one is ever above suspicion, even people close to him, plus things are invariably more complicated then they seem…

It has to be the Woodpecker. We have one that visits our garden every day and seems to particularly like making music by tapping on our plum tree!

Oh this is so hard as we love all birds – so lucky to have different kinds visit us in the garden. But I think my ultra-favourite is the long-tailed tit – looks like a ping-pong ball with a tail!

I love wrens, they are such sweet, perky little birds. I have embroidered a picture of one that hangs right above my desk.

Gorgeous Robins, I used to think they were rare when I was a child and saw one, now I often see them in the summer in Scotland.

It has to be the robin. We have several nesting in a neighbour’s tree and they spend a lot of time in our garden. They are so friendly.
