Eccentric, headstrong and engaging, Isabel Flores Montserrat is a cross between a highly charged Precious Ramotswe (No.1 Ladies Detective Agency) & Phyrne Fisher (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries).
When 33-year-old Isabel Flores Montserrat quits a promising career with the Spanish police to run her mother’s holiday rentals agency in rural Mallorca, it seems that her crime-fighting days are far behind. Basking in the Mediterranean sunshine with pet ferret, Furì, she indulges her passion for local cuisine, swimming in the sea and raising her pampered hens. However, in just a few days, the disappearance of a young British girl, violent murder of an elderly neighbour, and discovery of a Colombian drug cartel threaten to tear apart Isabel’s idyllic life. Together with local chief Tolo Cabot, an old admirer of her unorthodox methods, Isabel must race against the clock to untangle a sinister web of crime and restore peace to the island once more.

I haven’t been to many and none abroad but the beach at Mudeford is beautiful, so soft, you just sink and pick it up and just runs through your fingers
The white sand beaches in the Highlands of Scotland.
Bondi without a doubt!
Seven mile beach in Tasmania – I visited with family on Christmas day and it was empty! Beautiful, other-worldly and holds very happy memories.
My favourite beach of all time is navagio beach. The scenery is breathtaking.
My favourite beach is Machrihanish on Kyntire in Scotland. My boys were young and we toured Western Scotland in an old van which was roughly converted into a campervan .We walked over the hills passing an untethered bull en route.
We were amazed and awe struck when we came across the .most beautiful beach we had ever seen! I really must go back and see if it lives up to my memories.

All the beaches in Formentera! I could hardly believe the water was so clear and the sand was amazing!

Formentera is stunning! So beautiful and so many different types of beaches!
I was lucky enough to visit Whitehaven Beach on whitsunday island when I was in Queensland and I can’t believe there is a more beautiful beach in the world,
The sand there has a very high silica content giving it an otherworldly appearance – almost luminescent. It’s such a crystal white that you could be persuaded to believe you’ve entered a fairyland. And it is surrounded with the clearest turquoise sea.
If you ever get a chance, go!

Constantine Bay in Cornwall – no buildings, hotels or caravans in sight just sand dunes with a golf course behind.
