This book gives a wonderful sense of modern London life, especially appealing considering the fact that most of the locations mentioned in the book are in and around the main tourist hotspots – making it easy to visit and picture where the story happens, and even being able to eat and drink the hostelries mentioned. If you are wanting to visit London you can use this as your guide to see the London that lives on the edge of the tourist trail to give you a real sense of the place.

The story itself is compelling and compulsive – it gets a little simplistic at times, but still a great read.
