In Part 1 it is 1976 and twelve years old Steven Engels comes home to his family’s Upper West Side apartment only to discover the corpse of his single mother Gina who has been stabbed to death. A year on and Phil, Mum’s boyfriend is still of interest to the police.
Part 2 takes place a little over a year later, and Lily Chin, who is engaged to be married but finds herself becoming concerned and distrustful of Nickolai, her fiance.
Part 3 takes place 10 years after this – 73 year old….
