It is always difficult when a modern day author steps into the shoes of someone famous, respected, who has their unique voice. Just think of 007. Thus it is a tricky task, and I think this author carries it off pretty well. There is the old building, the cast of characters, the twists and turns, all Christie-esque… Good read.
