This was a gripping story albeit with quite a lot of description of violence and torture. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t more regarding Lockerbie in the book as I remember vividly the night it happened and I’m really not too keen on reading about Jihadists and the Middle East, however other readers may enjoy this aspect more than me. The author also brings in the SVR (what once was the KGB) and these agents certainly felt authentic. I was slightly disappointed in the ending but, as this is the first book involving Mitch Rapp, I would read the rest in the series. A fast moving story.
