WW2 crime mystery set in Canterbury, Kent (and London)
Close Your Eyes and I’ll Be There
This is a book of innocence – of a time of enchantment in a world now gone. It is through the eyes of a young person, learning and observing life with her grandfather in the land of old Bangladesh before the partition of India. It memorializes my grandfather, his world of generosity, compassion, joy at the privilege of living in a world that he created for himself and all those whose lives he touched. I want to share a loving bouquet of a wild and magical world that was once India, and an exceptional human being who is no more.
