Warwick Castle. My class got to visit it in school but I got the chicken pox 2 days before and couldn’t go. Everyone told me how good it was and even as an adult I’m still slightly sad I missed out.

Hadrian’s Wall I lived in the northeast for several years but like so many it was on the doorstep and I never got around to visiting.

I would love to travel around Cornwall and research some of the closed down tin mines. Especially around Botallack and Geevor areas.

This was going to be our year to visit Avebury, and we were actually booked on the Hidden Avebury weekend for last September. If only that pesky pandemic hadn’t interfered!

Rhynie man in Moray, who was he, why was he carved, why here and when. Can I feel a snow flake day dream appearing or a reckoning through this ice laden stone door axe man to the underworld. ENJOY.

I’ve been to a lot of the ancient monuments in Great Britain – but not to Hadrian’s Wall! So that would be my choice, and I’d do it as a long-distance walk as well to really soak up the landscape and atmosphere.

I’d love to see anything to do with our witchy history. Many castles have witch marks on the front gates, so I’d pick Edinburgh Castle 🙂

Fishbourne Roman Palace is just up the road from me, I always used to volunteer as a parent helper to accompany the local primary school children on their educational trips….sure I enjoyed it more than they did.

Severndroog Castle in Orleans Woods, Shooters Hill in Greenwich. The first stone was laid in 1784 and it has a tower with an awesome view over London. Oh and Ruth Galloway (in the Elly Griffiths books) told her parents she was pregnant there.
