I would have bought this book simply based on the title and the cover. Born and bred in the suburbs of Chicago and still thinking of it as home, this book was a must read. Set in the 1990s in the Robert Taylor homes this book tells the story of four young girlfriends and how they cope (or do not cope) with the closing of their homes. This book is bittersweet and eyeopening. Toya Wolfe brought to life these girls, this time and this place. Highly Recommend
