Anna Stothard’s story of an anonymous daughter’s journey to find out more about her dead mother meanders in an engaging way around Los Angeles. The main character’s desire to find out more about her absent mother brings her into contact with a broad range of Los Angeles life and people, with unexpected, credible twists at the end. This is a very well written book, well worth reading and would be interesting to read more of Anna Stothard’s books.
