One of the best books I have read this past year! A charming love-letter to reading, bookshops and reading groups alike.

The writing style is simply marvellous, the translation impeccable.

I fell in love with the rich descriptions and complex characters in this gem right from the start.

At the end of the book you cannot help but feel as if you have laughed, cried, and healed with the main characters.

I’m looking forward to reading more books by Hwang Bo-Reum.
