This book is set somewhere in the Peak District but for me could be in any rural location, the Lake District, Northumberland, N Yorkshire. You get a sense of rural life and the changing mood that nature and its environment can bring. This is an interesting book with a good style of storytelling linking the two key aspects together. I enjoyed the book, a little predictable in places but a good page turner. I felt I got to know the characters. Some of them creating some emotion in me which is always a good sign of a good book.
