An easy read, it is Rome and the era of the Dolce Vita. Mario Lanza arrives in Rome with his is dysfunctional family, so that he can make a film, and young Serafina weevils her way into the heart of it. this book exudes the heat of the city, the atmosphere and what I imagine to be the feel of the era. I did enjoy it, though it was can feel on the lightweight side.
