It’s about a group of friends meeting up again after 30 years of not seeing each other. It’s about relationships, friendships, being young and in love, having fun. There’s also sadness, regret, loss and loneliness. It’s all about secrets that come out in to the open.
I feel as though I’ve been on holiday to Italy – without leaving the house! I could “feel” the hot summer heat and “smell” the delicious Italian meals.
All of the characters are likeable and the author kept me guessing as to how it would all end – right up until the last page. Brilliant!
