Gripping Thriller

  • Book: The Whole Truth
  • Location: Oxford
  • Author: Cara Hunter

Review Author: MattJEvans

Cara Hunter has done it again with this novel. It’s a book that’s hard to put down, and it keeps you guessing. Although it continues the journeys of characters we’ve met before in the series of novels, you can easily pick up the story if this is the first of the series you’ve read. There are moments of tension for the main protagonist, DI Fawley, that make you wonder how it’s ever going to resolve well for him. I’m not going to give anything away here, so I would recommend you find out yourself. The characters are interesting, three-dimensional, and you will care what happens to them.

Set in Oxford and the surrounding area, ‘The Whole Truth’ really does paint a picture of the city from a different perspective from what you may have seen on TV.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.
