Think Bridget Jones but set in New York. J’adore New York is a fluffy chick-lit romp through New York with a french flavour.

Catherine Lambert has been offered her dream job – to transfer to New York from Paris to work as a Lawyer. She is relishing being in the big apple with the people, food, and fashion half-price sales. What she encounters is a power crazy and unreasonable boss, who throws ridiculous tasks at her constantly.

Mix that with a bit of romance and corporate dealings and that never ending battle to get those billable hours up, along with an assistant who tries to keep her grounded, and you get a very light easy read which would be good for the summer at the beach.
