In this book we do visit Box Hill in Surrey – but if you try to chart the fictional Highbury (and not, it’s not the London suburb, even then) – supposedly 15 miles from London, 9 miles from Richmond, 7 miles from Box Hill, you end up in the vicinity of Epsom, which is in Surrey also.
