A unique family story, with Irish heart and humour, which ultimately tackles some of life’s bigger issues.

Molly Black has left a note to inform her family that she is going off grid, but the family feels they need a get together, whether physically or via the internet, to discuss this situation.

As the novel opens there is a range of colourful characters to sort out – and that does need a bit of focus from the reader (there is also a family tree to inform).

But it is Uncle John who feels the poignancy of her departure, she may have physcically disappeared but he fears she may be lost. He after all has experience to fall back on ….

This is a lovely read that has loss at its heart, yet it has breadth and intelligence to carry the reader along.
