I enjoyed being whisked off to the heat, sights and smells of Sardinia and felt the author di a great job of evoking the essence of the island. I was ready to hop on a plane before I’d finished the book! The story was interesting, although a little slow at times, particularly the story of Faye’s parents’ marriage. At times that intruded too much on the main story of the Little Theatre and the various characters involved and I’d have preferred to stay in Sardinia.
