Lovely ‘trip’ to Italy

  • Book: Under the Italian Sun
  • Location: Umbria
  • Author: Sue Moorcroft

Zia-Lucia now has unexpected time on her hands to find out a bit more about her parentage. What she discovers really shocks her and part of the equation is not only issues around her mother, but finding out more about her Italian father.

She thus resolves to head off to Umbria and see if she can delve further into her family history and she and her good friend Ursula bowl up at fictional Montelibertà.

All I can say is that I have had a trip to Italy these past couple of days. The author is terrific at creating locale through the warm smells, glorious vistas and food and wine. What a great trip it has been!
