Three bodies found in the snow in Gorky Park beside a skating rink, who are they and where do they come from? This novel brings Russia of the time vividly to life incorporating intrigue, informants and corruption in a complicated plot that doesn’t involve the usual spies and missiles. I did feel that the second part of the book was a bit superfluous and if he had finished it at part one it would have been better.
