I loved being able to picture Kate whizz ing around all the places in Newcastle that I know – the fact that the location is expertly and accurately described gives the fictional story a feeling of authenticity. The characters were believable and engaging and the narrative fast paced – I don’t think I will ever feel quite the same about the church in Corbridge though!
