It’s a mystery of sorts that takes place in a Paris that, if you’ve gone there as a tourist, you have never seen or even imagined; it’s kind of like a dream where things are misty, nothing is really resolved, certainly not the mystery. People that were there are no more; places that were there are no more. This is life and life doesn’t always resolve it’s mysteries. Sometimes you are in the present, sometimes you are taken to the past, and sometimes you’re in a dream. Often you have to work this out because it can change from one sentence to the next. Personally, I think I was more confused than seduced.

I read this because it played a part in the lovely The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurain and I was curious.
