What a rollercoaster ride Angie Shepherd had after her divorce. She went from battered and bruised to award winning in just 12 months. Helen Bridgett’s novel is set in Manchester with trip to Cumbria and a cruise thrown in for good measure courtesy of Angie’s job in a travel agency. The tag line “Where chaos comes free” is very apt as if it is going to go wrong but for the right reasons then it will. I enjoyed reading about everything that went on in Angie’s life including her mothers never ending search for freebies, (a girl after my own heart). I know it is just a novel but somehow I can see the things that happened happening in real life which for me is a sign of a well written book. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a light hearted funny book.
