Book Covers that caught our eye… and a fabulous prize to be won 11th December 2014

IMG_3113We have been gradually building up a collection of book covers that have caught our eye over on Pinterest. There are loads more out there and we are asking you to help us by telling us below which covers have really inspired you and which you think have exceptional qualities. All very subjective but there are ones that really work, and ones that just don’t make the grade. Tell us which covers work for you!

Write in the book title (or paste a link) of your all time favourite book cover below in the Comments by Midnight, Sunday 21st December and the first person out of the hat will receive a brilliant collection of “100 postcards from Penguin Modern Classics” – a gorgeous set of black and white photos of top Penguin authors. We’ll be uploading the best covers to Pinterest with a personal acknowledgment. A prize really worth having…

Come and join us at TripFiction on Social Media: TwitterFacebook and Pinterest and when we have some interesting photos we can sometimes be found over on Instagram too.

Notes from A Small Island by Bill Bryson 1996 paperback edition

A picture of a tea cup, saucer and spoon with the British Isles at the bottom of the cup. sums it all up, I’d say!
