New York homicide detective Harvey Wall was more than pleased when his captain suggested he go on a six month exchange program with the Dutch police in Amsterdam. The benefits were obvious; firstly, he was out of sight of his captain who was making his life miserable. Secondly, New York averaged 350 homicides a year, Amsterdam only 15.
He smiled at the thought of was six months full pay and lots of fun. And that was exactly how it started, but after his first week a number of unusual deaths occur. He quickly realises that Amsterdam, famous for its red light district, beautiful canals and bike loving Dutch, can be more dangerous than The Big Apple.
