My absolutely favourite thing about going to Paris was the river cruise and ending up back at the Eiffel Tower shining. I loved that.

I love the food, the language and the beautiful scenery
Hubby and I were very fortunate to spend 3 weeks every summer in various parts of Brittany for over 30 years. Sadly we are now too old to make the 600 mile round trip. Our particular piece of Paradise was Bénodet. A sheltered bay for swimming, a wonderful clean beach, a marina and river estuary along with a saltmarsh all within walking distance of our campsite. The French people we met were always very welcoming and we loved the fact that it was not over-commercialised.

There is an endless amount of culture. 2 of my favourite places to visit are The Picasso Museum and The Tuileries Garden
I haven’t visited France for many years, so I would say reading books set in France with a glass of French red wine is what I love the most.
I don’t know much about France, but I’ve been to Paris a few times. If you avoid the tourist traps, the city is rather beautiful with plenty of great things to see.
The best thing about France is the great food and wine.
I love museums, so the Louvre in Paris is always top of my list to visit when I’m there.
I love the buzz and the excitement of this vibrant city, Paris!
The romance of it all
I love Brittany with its beautiful coastline and beaches. Chocolate crepes are a favourite with the children.
There is so much to love! One of my favourite places is the Jardin des Plantes. Lovely to walk about and there is a small zoo there too. Travel-wise you have to take the Batobus because it’s so cheap and you are essentially getting a Seine cruise into the bargain!

Paris captures the 5 senses in it’s bottle of adventure, memories that remain imprinted forever in our hearts. Whether a moonlit walk along the Seine or a view from Sacre Couer Paris has something for everyone.

I love the food and wine. My daughter will be studying there in January and this would be a great gift for her

The countryside is beautiful, the beaches and mountains spectacular and the food delicious. But it is the friendliness of the people which will be remembered long after the last Moules Mariniere has been consumed

I love France but have never been to Paris. To me France is small towns and villages, bakeries and cafes, petanque in the square and exploring the countryside.
I loved visiting Disneyland Paris when I was a child, and I’d love to go back again now with a group of friends as an adult!

What I love most about France is getting to see my daughter and grandchildren who live there! I love the food, too, of course, and family visits to them are never complete without a visit to a market, a food shop or a restaurant

Unfortunately I have never travelled to France but I would love to go soon. Paris is such an iconic City that’s been depicted in many amazing films; so much so that I believe I will feel comfortable there with so many amazing buildings, tourist spots and of course not forgetting the Eiffel Tower. I would love to read these travel books in preparation for our journey. We’ll be able to plan in advance so we can fit as much in as possible when I finally get there at 55!! You’re never too old too enjoy the history and soak up the atmosphere, while allowing time for stops at quaint cafes and restaurants to enjoy French cuisine and amazing sweet treats. Thank you x

I love the food. Gorgeous pate, platters of seafood, exquisite desserts. Then there’s wonderful sights, from the castles of the Loire, to the French Riviera. What is there not to love about France?

I love visiting Paris with my best friend (my husband). It is the city of romance after all.

My favourite thing in Paris is the beautiful floating bookshop (and cafe) L’eau at Les Reves, which is run by lovely people, and is one of the most perfect spots in any city I’ve visited.
I love the bread! I haven’t visited Paris for such a long time I would love to go back!
I used to go camping to France as a kid and remember the amazing food – lunch would be a baguette, hunk of cheese and fresh peach, followed by an ice cream later.
The smell of fresh bread/croissants coming from a genuine Parisian bakery….yum!

I love the countryside around the Somme area and we used to go to a great pub in Albert called Les 3 Pigeons.

I remember Paris with my mother. We went on a champagne tasting weekend. It was great. We went also to Reims where we had a tasting menu in a cave, each course we had a different champagne. My mother was sozzled. It was hilarious! I’d love to go back now I’m interested in photography, to take snaps of the architecture

Strolling along the Seine and stopping to have coffee and fresh pastries with the decadent feint smell of Gauloises in the background.

I am a true Francophile and always have been: the food and wine,, culture, fashions, architecture and overall joie de vivre. Loved my years as a student near Versailles and also in the Loire Valley. This bundle would be greatly appreciated!

I love the way of life which leaves time for enjoyment even though lives are busy – teamed with wonderful towns and cities, great countryside and fabulous food, it makes France a winner!
