Lachlan Doyle is a recently graduated Detective with the New Zealand CIB and is posted to Dunedin. A woman is found dead in her home, apparently having fallen down the stairs, but when Lachlan investigates further, he is convinced this is a case of murder. Despite the opposition of his superiors, Lachlan continues digging for evidence and finds himself in great danger, with the trail leading directly to the Prime Minister’s office.

This book won the Kinglake Publishing Ltd Unpublished Author Competition in 2010.
