Ralph is an Englishman, lives in Carlisle and used to have a Thai wife, who has disappeared. He is on a quest for a new wife, but fails miserably in securing a new docile partner. He meets Runa on the boat to Shanghai, where he hopes an internet assignation awaits him. He sets his sights on Runa until she reveals more than he expected…and a tragedy ensues.
