Favourite Greek food is Stifado comfort food at its best
I remember 2 elderly Greek villagers on the island of Naxos sharing with my friend and I a simple meal of taramasalata, grilled octopus, olives, and salad with fresh bread. We had stopped by the side of the road to enjoy the view and they called us over. They’re still my favourite Greek food.

My favorite Greek Food is a nice juicy lamb gyro.
I love cheeses so feta is must be
Whole lamb on a spit, slathered with olive oil and served with tzatziki, flat bread and wine.

I’m not all that familiar with Greek food (that ought not to be the case now, as I had a holiday there booked for 2020 but of course things got in the way…) but I do love humus

Chargrilled and spit roast meats
It has to be Koulouri. The delicious sesame bread rings sold by street vendors that are delicious. I can smell them now & the image of times spent in Greece comes rushing back.
Baklava – when we were on holiday on a Greek island, we used to walk 2 miles every afternoon in order to buy baklava and iced coffee!
I love Greek food, but my favourite is Moussaka.

As someone who eats chickpeas every single day it has got to be hummus on a bit of Greek flatbread.
