Was it pure chance that he had run into her so soon? Philip had never believed in destiny, and his father had believed in nothing but his own genius. And yet…
From the moment recent Oxford graduate Philip takes the helm of a new marine life institute in Palm Beach, his presence revives old feuds and sparks rivalries among the wealthy resident snowbirds, many of whom have invested heavily in a biotech company soon to be exposed for insider trading. It quickly becomes clear that Philip’s quest for atonement on the behalf of his father will embroil many of the community’s most prominent members.
Interwoven with snippets of real-life drama from an insider-trading scandal, Where Snowbirds Play paints a compelling portrait of the lives of the privileged, and what happens when their world is turned upside down.
‘Gina Goldhammer’s Where Snowbirds Play offers an arresting and singular perspective on a lifestyle few experience firsthand. Taking readers into the heart of privilege, Goldhammer spins a compelling story that lays bare the tensions, frailties, desires and self-deceptions that drive human beings everywhere. Sumptuous, witty and surprising, this novel will transport you to a world that is at once absorbingly fresh, and a charming – and alarming – reflection of our own.’ — Ann Morgan

I would try to make other people’s lives a bit better.
Help the homeless as best I could
I’d want to help my family and my town as much as possible.
Open up a animal sanctuary and rescue centre in various parts of the world.
Help my local football team.
Travel and donate to conservation charities
I would travel and try to help others
Support small charities where I know my money or time would make a difference.
If I had a life of privilege I would do lots of volunteering for charities.
I would do everything I could to help feral, stray and abandoned cats.
I would open a holiday park for people with disabilities
I would set up a huge craft centre in my town with lots of crafts that are unusual like stained glass, stone masonry, weaving, glass blowing etc and train up lots of young crafters to keep the unusual crafts alive!
Ensure my staff were appreciated and looked after in return for great and private service.
I’d make sure the family was secure and then travel as much as possible
I would try and do some good in the world
I’d move to Golden Oak, a residential part close to Disney World in Florida.
I would share the privileges I have been blessed with those less fortunate than myself, helping and supporting where needed
I would share some with family and then give some to good causes.
Help family and friends, travel and help those in need
Buy a big house and fill it with cats 🙂
Share it around with those who are generally struggling to put them on a better path.
I’d make sure that everyone I loved was financially secure and then buy beachside properties all over the UK and Europe to provide free holidays for families that might not otherwise get one.
Travel the world
Apart from ensuring that my family and friends were also financially secure, I would help animal charities, especially those for dogs and donkeys.
I’d start a cat rescue and help as many cats as I could!
I would “do a Dolly Parton” and fund books for children, although I would keep enough money back to create a proper library for myself. One complete with rolling ladder and a hidden door.
If I had a life of privilege I would give money to charity especially animal Charities.
Donate half to brain tumour research. Spend the rest on travelling,
I would relocate to the South coast, buy a sea facing house & employ a cook, cleaner, gardener & personal trainer. Also a chauffeur to drive me up & down between the South coast & London, so I could still continue with my London based activities!
With whatever was left, I would give large sums of money to family, friends & charities for children with special needs.
All in my dreams, I know!
Feed the starving millions
Appalling how many gp short on food and essentials
Help others who are less fortunate than me
surprise people who are not expecting anything — if i saw some one doing a good deed or helping a stranger or just going out of their way to do something they werent planning to do for some one then i would give them an envelope with a cash reward
share it
Awesome!
I’d open a dog sanctuary
