    The Retreat by Sarah Pearse. I loved The Sanctuary. Kept me gripped, gave me a nightmare and still haunts me. What a book, so very keen to read Sarah’s other book. So is hubby as he very much enjoyed The Sanctuary too.

    Bill Bryson’s Dictionary of Troublesome Words. I’ve lost my copy and, although it’s an old publication, still refer to it occasionally.

    I borrowed from our local library “The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse” by Charlie Mackesy, but I would love a copy for my bookshelf as I find it so encouraging and uplifting and would recommend that everyone should read it, whatever age they are.

    I would love to receive a copy of Racing The Light, the new Elvis and Joe novel from Robert Crais, coming out later this month.
    I’ve read all the earlier ones, and I’ve always said that if I got into trouble in Los Angeles, I would want Elvis and Joe to come to my rescue.
