Russian Roulette
- Book: Moscow Rules
- Location: Courchevel, Italy, Moscow
- Author: Daniel Silva
The opening scenes of this novel are set in Courchevel, a ski resort in France frequented by a new generation of wealthy Russians. We are then taken to the Umbrian region of Italy, Rome, the Vatican then on to London, Geneva and, of course, Moscow. This is a gripping and believable read which I found even more compelling as I read it immediately after I had finished Sashenka which was also a story revolving around Stalin’s Moscow. Food for thought about what might be going on in modern-day Russia.
