A tale of folklore and murder, set in the SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS
The #TFBookClub is taking a break
19th November 2020

We have been running the #TFBookClub for nearly four years now and with the advent of Covid and publishers working largely from home, we have had a little difficulty sourcing books for the book club. Some publishers have been able to send books direct from the warehouses but generally there has been quite a move to digital copies.
So, we felt that now was a good time to take a break and we have a few novel ideas coming up soon.
We launched in March 2017 with Rosanna Ley’s stunning novel The Little Theatre By the Sea which was set in Sardinia and Dorset and the last book we read was Gill Paul’s The Second Marriage set in USA and Europe. In between we have been to Whitstable, Venice, Malaya, Marrakech, North Yorkshire and more places than we can count.
So, watch out for new things happening in 2021! And thank you to everyone who has supported the #TFBookClub to date!

Oh, no! I’m so sorry because travelling via a book is just about the only recourse these days. Please keep me updated about what’s next. Marylee

Oh thank you for your lovely feedback. Yes, it got very hard work with getting books out to readers so for now we are on a break with it. Watch this space. Do you have anything you might like to see us do, I wonder?
Dear Tina and Andrew, that’s a shame but it’s not surprising that getting hold of books has become difficult. We’ve had many great reads in the last few years. Thank you for organising everything. It’s always been such a treat to unwrap a lovely new paperback! I look forward to finding out what 2021 holds. Happy new year to you and your families, Harriet

Hi Harriet… yes it was a sad decision. The last book club read couldn’t provide physical copies so we could only – in the end – offer digital and a lot of people still like to read on paper. So sometimes it felt like pushing and managing a wave that we couldn’t control. We have some new ideas bubbling away. Thank you so much for your bookish support (not only bookish, of course). And wishing you a decent 2021, let’s hope it’s a lot kinder. Speak soon. Tina x
