GIVEAWAY – 3 copies of IGLOO, YA novel set in the FRENCH ALPS
4th December 2022
We are delighted to offer 3 copies of IGLOO by Jennifer Burkinshaw, a young adult novel set in the FRENCH ALPS.
UK ONLY

A surprise Christmas holiday in the French Alps should be a dream come true, but not for sixteen-year-old Nirvana. She has important plans to complete at home, and tensions are high with her parents. In desperation, Niv skips ski school and heads off-piste towards the forest, where she discovers a hidden igloo. Better still, it’s empty.
When its builder, Jean-Louis, finds her trespassing, he suggests they share the igloo, and as the pair find common ground in their struggles to be themselves, they realise they are each other’s perfect Christmas gift.
Too soon, Niv must return home to Lancashire. Now in two different countries, each faces new problems, alone, and their battle to be together becomes infinitely harder.
Is it a battle they can win? Or will their sweet, fledgling romance be lost to the seasons, like the igloo where it began?

Both – a sunny but cold day in the Alps is blissful
I enjoy looking at snow, preferably from somewhere warm and cosy. Does that count?
abit of both although prefer the sun
Love watching snow fall but must admit not so keen on going out in it x
Sun Seeker
I have to say neither, I prefer warm rather than hot in summer and mild rather than cold in winter. However, I love to see the snow…..from the comfort and warmth of my garden room!
Definitely a sun seeker – I love it!
I’m a child of the sun – the hotter the better. Sultry long summers for me but I’d love to read the other side of the story.
I am definitely not a sun-seeker! Even English summers are too hot for me. Given the choice, I’d go for snow every time.
I am definitely a Sun Seeker, it can’t get too hot for me.
I was in my twenties when I first saw proper snow falling and was ridiculously excited about it. Gorgeous as it was, I am a sun seeker at heart.
I’m definitely on the fence. I don’t like the cold but snow is pretty if you don’t need to venture out. Bright winter days are lovely. On the other hand I’m certainly not a sun worshipper, I don’t like it too hot.
I do not like snow for walking and driving in but I think it looks beautiful and fun for the kids.
I’m neither, I’m afraid ; I’m a winter creature, love and thrive in cold weather, but don’t like snow.
Sun seeker
Definitely sun, but winter’s okay if I’m cosy indoors
If the sun is shining, I’m a happy bunny!
Definitely the snow the sun is too hot!
I’m a sun seeker. I can’t stand the cold! Brrr! Not for mmmmeeee.
I am a Goldilocks Sunseeker. It has to be warm but not too humid, with a gentle breeze. I’ll never be a snow seeker, anything more than a slight sprinkle puts me into hibernating bear mode!
Sun seeker although I do love a snow day lol
Snow seeker in the sunshine!⛄
sun seeker, hate the cold.
Sun Seeker☀️☀️
Sun seeker. I struggle with the cold.
Sun. But not too hot sun, just pleasantly warm. So probably an in betweener!
I’m definitely not a snow seeker as I don’t cope well in the cold. That being said, I don’t like it when it’s too hot either! I’m more of a something in between!
I am definitely a snow seeker. Anything above 5C is too hot!
I’m a sun seeker x
