Everything can change – In Just One Day
Flora has always adored her brother Billy. Born just eighteen months apart, their childhood was spent like two peas in a pod – no one could separate them. Now, as adults, they remain the best of friends. And as Flora is immersed in family life, Billy is always there to lend a hand.
But, in just one day, everything changes.
In just one day, Flora’s life falls apart.
In just one day, Flora has to learn how to live again.
From the nostalgia of seaside Britain to the breath-taking beauty of Venice, in tears and laughter, join Helen McGinn for this emotional, uplifting and joyful story about love in all its guises. But above all, this is an unforgettable story of one little girl and the brother she adored.

Winners:
Jenn Gillies
Marycarol
Pin King Mouse
I drink red and white wine but usually only with dinner.
Love a nice cool Pinot – with or without food xx
only a wine drinker with food
Love a warming red on a cold winter’s evening
Rose please
My favourite at the moment is white wine. For years, I only drank rose, however, now I’m finding it to be too sweet
I like wine in moderation and it can evoke memories. Champagne reminds me of weddings , a glass of French white reminds me of summer days in my parents garden and a glass of Chianti of holidays in Italy
It has to be a fruity, rounded red for me.
I like all wines but prefer a dry, crisp white wine.
I love white wine, especially chardonnay
I like a dry white wine.
Not much of a wine drinker…….apart from a glass of M & S Bucks Fizz every now and then!
My favourite is a nice, ice cold sauvignon blanc! But I also love a glass of dry Rose in the summer!
lovely chilled white wine
I am not a big wine drinker, I would love to know more about wine.
Cup of green tea. Can’t beat it.
I prefer gin and tonic.
Would rather have a sherry!
i love a cuppa
I love South African Pinotage, a lovely fruity red. I first drank it on a trip to that country and fell in love with both the wine and the country.
Love a nice Burgundy.
Definitely love Rose
I prefer a Rosé if I have to drink wine but my favourite tipple is a cold glass of cider
I enjoy a glass of local wine with a meal on holiday – but otherwise I tend to prefer a G&T
Can’t beat a red wine
My favourite wine is a Pinot Grigio blush (a nice light rose wine). Delicious!
I love while wine, especially Albariño
Cava, cava and more cava! Love bubbles on a budget.
I like a red wine 🙂
Cold rose on a summers day can’t be beat
Red Wine is the best
Merlot is my go to red wine. It is usually reliable and goes well with most meals.
White wine is the best
Rosé or Red,
I won’t feel blue.
I’m not hungover,
Its’s just wine flu
I don’t drink wine. I prefer a non alcoholic cider
Not a fan. Like an occasional champagne but I’m really a G&T girl
I’m following Helen in Insta (spacebeagle45). I love wine; red for mellow evenings, rose for summer days outside and white for sharing a bottle with friends any time. And of course, Champagne all year round!
My favourite would be a good Rioja, served with a roast.
Love a cool glass of Rose – anytime, any place 🙂 But later inthe evening I prefer a Brandy….
I’m not generally a fan but love the wines when we go to the wine fest in a place called Zell in Germany.
I love Prosecco, wine with a fizz
Definitely a nice bold red wine for me
I love a smooth rioja!
I like White Wine
Love red wine, Merlot from Lidl is my favourite
I like white wine the best.
I’m not keen on wine really but find Rose to be the nicest. I don’t drink a lot of alcohol anyway x
My favourite wine is a sparkling rose
Red wine, is always a favourite especially australian fruity wine
Love wine, red, white or rose!
Love a nice glass of rosé especially sparkling
always red wine, but can’t drink more than a glass or it gives me a headache!
I am more of a prosecco person, but if it has to be the wine I’d like the Rose most or a delish sangria for Summer nights.
I can’t handle much alcohol these days so I love a cold glass of Shloer – white grape.
Nothing hits the spot quite like a cold dry white wine – delicious.
I love any wine but prefer a red but has to be a good one usually a Malbec
I don’t like the taste of wine and therefore I tend to have lemonade when others are drinking alcohol.
I don’t enjoy the taste of wine and usually need to eat something salty with it to take the taste away. I guzzle rather than sipping.
But, I love the tingly tipsy feeling, and the fuzzy warmth that a couple of glasses gives me, so I always go back for more.
Love a glass of pinot grigio
Not a fan of wine or any alcohol, rather have Fanta.
Love ROSE crisp fresh and perfect to share with friends or a great read
I lost my sense of smell/taste a few years ago and as a result all wine except fizz taste horrible! So now I drink Prosecco or champagne!
Amarone for me 🙂
I enjoy the odd glass of Rioja, but have no head for alcohol these days so it’s only ever the one glass
I rarely drink wine nowadays as I do not like to drink alone and I won’t drink and drive. We used to love a very dry sherry called Manzanilla and my husband usually had a glass while HE was cooking dinner! Of course I would join him while I laid the table!
Nice glass of rosè and a good book, best way to relax.
It’s white wine for me!
I love a glass of wine with my dinner. My favourite is New Zealand, Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. I also like Cotes de Rhone and for red, a Malbec or Rioja.
I never really used to drink wine, and if i did it had to be a white with lemonade. Then some one gave me a glass of white grenache. OMG! what a game changer! i love it, although some of the fruity wines like blossom hill or echo falls are an OK go to if i don’t have any grenache.
Love a glass of champagne when it’s on offer. Mainly drink dry white wine (Chardonnay is a favourite)!
I love Sainsbury’s white wine as I can’t have dairy and its vegan so its fantastic to finally find a wine I can enjoy
Give the choice my favourite is red champagne!
Like a white wine.
Must be dry
Prefer Chardonnay.
Must be well chilled.
Enjoy Pouilly Fuisse or Pouilly Fume.
Absolute favourite Cakebread Chardonnay
My tastes have changed since I have aged. I used to like white wine in my 20s, then rose wine in my 30s and now red wine in my 40s. Of course you can’t beat a glass of champagne and my favourites are Bollinger R.D and Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Rose.
I like red wine
Anything fizzy is my idea Heaven
I like all wine, but my favourite is a Château neuf du Pape.
I don’t drink alcohol so I don’t have a favourite wine. My favourite non-alcoholic drink is Diet Coke but I also love fruit squashes and cordials.
Chardonnay is my favourite wine but I do like rose in the summer.
Oh, I love Blossom Hill’s white wine – they are the best. I used to buy M&S’s Cava but they no longer produce it as they said no call for it. Rather strange decision as it sold out the xmas before! Red tends to give me a headache so I’ll only have one glass with a meal. Rose, I’m yet to find a good one.
Red wine is my favourite tipple all year round. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a special treat from time to time on a Friday night for me – there is no better way to warm your cockles on a chilly autumnal evening. And of course it has been scientifically proven that red wine is good for your heart. 🙂
Hello, I like to drink herbal teas, like green tea and berry tea. They are so nice and refreshing!
I love red wine, Malbec or Merlot x
Unusually, I really don’t like wine, unless it’s a sip of Prosecco!
My favourite tipples are lime juice soda and iced latté!
I’m a non alcoholic kind of girl diet C____ water or coffee for me
