GIVEAWAY – 3 copies of The Foreign Girls by Sergio Olguin, translated by Miranda France, a great thriller set in Tucumán Province, Argentina.
UK ONLY GIVEAWAY

Veronica Rosenthal has retreated to a cousin’s remote cottage in the province of Tucuman, to recuperate from the traumatic events in The Fragility of Bodies. She befriends two female tourists – an Italian and a Norwegian – invites them to stay and starts a sexual relationship with one of them. After a party they attend together, Veronica travels on alone but days later discovers that the women have been murdered. Suspicion falls on a local Umbanda priest, but Veronica starts to uncover a web of corruption, abuse and femicide in which government, wealthy landowners and a high-ranking official from the Argentina’s ‘Dirty War’ are all implicated. Veronica’s investigation, with its unforeseen political dimensions, has alarmed new enemies who will try to stop her at all cost.

I’d like to visit Argentina especially the capital Buenos Aires.
I would love to visit Machu Picchu, Peru! I love walking and being outdoors so it would be amazing to go trekking and explore the spectacular sites.
Chile
I suppose it counts as Central America rather than South, except that Central America isn’t a continent and it isn’t in North so it must be in South, but where I would really love to go is Panama. My son in law’s lovely family live there and although we’ve met up with them in various places all over the world, we’ve never seen them on their “home turf”.
Argentina
I have a colleague from Uruguay who has shown me some amazing photos and shared recipes. Would love to visit.
Would love to go to Peru
Argentina would be amazing, but I would have to learn to Tango before I went!
Oooh, it’s hard to narrow it down since South America is one I haven’t visited much. Probably Brazil and Argentina!
