I would raise one of the Brontes from the dead if that isn’t too macabre, and we would sit in a cosy study in a house in Yorkshire, drinking tea, to write the book.

I would choose Peter Swanson, i’ve just finished his book ‘Rules for perfect murders’ and it was the type of book I would love to have written myself.
I would team up with Hugh Greene – the sense of place in his Dr Power books is fantastic, and centred in an area very familiar to me from my childhood. They say you should write about what you know, and he would help me to base my story in a place I know well.
What a thought-provoking giveaway question! I think I would choose J.K. Rowling as she would add a bit of magic to the story writing process! It’s hard to think up an answer as I think it would be important to choose a good writer with an agreeable personality. I imagine it would be quite difficult to collaborate with a writer who didn’t share your vision and/or whose personality clashed with your own!
Isabel Allende. I admire her writing style.
I’d love to write with Will Dean, his Scandi-crime thrillers appeal to me, as does his sense of place.
As I would like sometime to write about all the children with special needs I have worked with over the years, I would choose to partner up with fostering memoir author, Cathy Glass. I have read every one of her books & have enjoyed them all. She writes so well! ♀️♂️♀️
Diana Gabaldon, she’d be able to flesh out any story.
