GIVEAWAY – a Christmas package (including 2 books to transport you to GREECE)

2nd December 2022

GIVEAWAY - a Christmas package (including 2 books to transport you to GREECE)Giveaway – A Christmas package including 2 books to transport you to Greece).

We are delighted to have a copy each of Peel Me a Lotus (set on Hydra) and Mermaid Singing (set on Kalymnos) by Charmian Clift, with forewords by Polly Samson. These are two gorgeous books, first reissued as paperbacks in 2021 when they got superb reviews and are now published just in time for Christmas as hardbacks, with a beautiful marker ribbon. As the nights draw in we all need a blast of Greek sunshine to cheer us up!

We have popped them into a really festive context with a Christmas themed furoshhiki (Japanese wrapping cloth) and a variety of decorations. And what is a giveaway without at least some chocolate? We can assure you the package will be a delight to unpack!

We are running this giveaway across our Social Media as well, and details of how to enter are outlined below. This is a UK only giveaway.

With thanks to Fiona Brownlee and Muswell Press

HOW TO ENTER – you can enter on each platform to maximise your chance of winning. One winner will be chosen at random from across all platforms. The giveaway ends on 9 December 2022 / UK ONLY

My festive plans are very minimal this year, as they have been for the past 2 Christmases, as well, thanks to Covid! My family get together is too far for me to drive to, given my back problems & night blindness, so I will be getting in some tasty treats for myself, maybe a miniature or two, and will be spending the day itself lazing in the bath, reading (of course!) and listening to carols on Classic FM. Not too unpleasant, really!
On Boxing Day, the family will be closer to hand, so I will see everyone then, instead!
