I’ve been to New York a couple of times. There’s never enough time to see everything. For me, New York means culture and diversity. There were many excellent ethnic restaurants to go to and the history and architecture is fascinating. I love reading books set in New York.

Central Park! When I went to New York in 1978, you could not go in Central Park, it was far too dangerous!
The ‘Y’ where I stayed on 42nd Street had seen a murder the night before I arrived! How did I survive?
Yet, we hitchhiked all around the States with no problem whatsoever, so many friendly people who invited us for meals, even to stay over & be dropped back at the toll the following morning!
I’d like to go back, have a walk in the park this time!
