Maybe not a city traditionally known for romance, but to me Vienna is the most romantic place in the world.

Anywhere with a beach that has a flat Sandy shoreline and sunshine. My husband and I met at Great Yarmouth, doesn’t sound very romantic does it but still in love many decades later.

When I met my husband he had a bed and breakfast. I rang the doorbell and asked for a bed for the night. He said “sure have, you can share mine” Didn’t share that night but when I left for New Zealand, he sent me very poetic letters and enticed me back to his B & B in Morecambe. We’re retired now.

My most romantic place was Venice. We went on one of our anniversaries. It is just divine. The canals, the Bridge if Sighs, artists, gondola’s, The Square with the oldest cake shop… I would love to go back, I will never forget how wonderful it was ☺️

The most romantic place for me is Kefalonia as we had our honeymoon there and it holds lots of special memories for us. It’s our 20th wedding anniversary next year – hope we can go back to celebrate…

Unfortunately no romantic stories to tell but for me the romantic place would be Tasmania. It’s a beautiful country, reminds me very much of the British countryside.
