Starting in the mid 1750s, three very diverse young men arrive to the southern shore of Lake Ontario to start new lives. Thomas Hartford, a young British foot soldier is the first of the three to admire the magnificent Niagara Falls. Over time, Irishman Paddy O’Sullivan and Sicilian Franco Di Angelo arrive, marry, produce progeny, and soon settle down in the beautiful wine-making region of Niagara. By the mid 1960s, their head-strong descendants intersect over their conflicting desires for land, lust and loot. When a murder occurs, many long-held family secrets unravel and reveal startling truths.
