oh im a 3
These sound gorgeous. I’ll go for no 1 as it’s one of my favourite books.
2. A brilliant book that I remember as a teen and would love to put in our library. Such sensory writing.
1 sounds great, but 2 tugged at my heartstrings. Oh, and I *love* greengages. 🙂
Based on the copious amounts of tea I drink and the last three years of holidays in Cornwall and the Outer Hebrides, it’s definitely No. 3. And such an iconic opening line.
In my head I am No1 but truthfully I’m more a No2!!
Much decision making, mostly over the treasonous way to make tea in number 3… But alas, that is what I am.
Definitely a No.1, and I love The Great Gatsty – and so we beat on… ♥️
You had me at tea, hot or iced
After much consideration I am definitely a 3

2. And I love The Greengage Summer. Rumer Godden is ripe for a revival, I think. Fantastic story teller and especially good at capturing the heartbreak of childhood and early adolescence. With humour and some very dark scenes.

Number 2. Love a glass of bubbles
Number 1
2 for me but my grandaughter has to read “The Great Gatsby” next term on her University course so I would love to win for her.

I knew it would be this even before I looked at the quiz questions. Just wonderful.
