I just love Salcombe – beautiful bays too.
I have only seen Cornwall through television shows and would love to visit in person.

Honiton lace and, oh, the ice cream

We recently stayed in Marazion and found plenty of interesting and exciting things to do in the area. We loved the open air, sea water Jubilee Pool in Penzance; the plays with a stunning backdrop at the Minack Theatre; Barbara Hepworths Sculpture Garden in St Ives and not forgetting all the pasties, cream teas and Newlyn crab sandwiches consummed!
The rugged coastal landscape.
Coastal footpaths, sandy bays, rocky shores!
The beaches, the Cornish pasties and fresh fish.
Ps. I am half Cornish! My mother’s family lived all around the Liskeard area!

I have not yet been but would love to tour the area.
I go to Cornwall twice a year to visit my autistic brother, who is in care there.
He likes peaceful venues & also boat trips, so we often take the boat from Truro to Falmouth. One time we actually saw some dolphins, which was amazing!
We also visit National Trust properties, this year we went to Lanhydrock, which was stunning with all the azaleas & rhododendrons in flower!
One year we flew to the Scillies from Lands End, that was so exciting!
I am always on the look-out for nice places to take my brother, so this guide book would be just the thing! 🙂
The West Country scenery is stunning. Just the place to enjoy a cream tea!
I love Cornwall – the scenery, the history – even more so since I discovered I have ancestors from Kea! Love Marizion – had a wonderful holiday there opposite St Michael’s Mount!
I love the scenery, the people and of course cream teas x
