A Spy Among Friends I would say.
The nearest I’ve got to a spy book this year is Dead of Night by Simon Scarrow – which I enjoyed far more than I thought I would. I was a bit intimidated by it 🙂
I am pilgrim – Terry Hayes.
A Spy Among Friends was my favourite
Other than James Bond, I don’t think I’ve seen any – and I definitely haven’t read any this year.

Watched Goldfinger yesterday – classic spy film – ahead of its time when released but very dated now
The spy novel I enjoyed this year is Partners in Crime by Agatha Christie. It was totally cheesy and completely different to anything I’ve read by Christie before.
As a retired primary school teacher, I love the Charlie Higson Young Bond series of novels.
Re the The Man in the Corduroy Suit competition: Slow Horses tv series, faithful to the books and Gary Oldman excels!
