Win a box full of relaxing goodies!

In the box there’s a copy of The Translator by Harriet Crawley, a brilliant and topical new spy thriller by a Harriet Crawley, a hand-painted bookmark, a Moleskin notebook, a beautiful beach towel (ideal for lying in the sun doing nothing), some herbal teas to relax you, a few delicious sweets, and a couple of candles to set the atmosphere.

The Translator by Harriet Crawley:

A highly topical thriller about a Russian plot to cut the undersea communication cables linking the US to the UK. Also, a passionate love story between two people determined to stop this cataclysmic act.

Clive Franklin, a Russian language expert in the Foreign Office, is summoned unexpectedly to Moscow to act as translator for the British Prime Minister. His life is turned on its head when, after more than a decade, he discovers that his former lover, Marina Volina, is now the interpreter to the Russian President. At the embassy, Clive learns of a Russian plot to cut the undersea cables linking the US to the UK which would paralyse communications and collapse the Western economy. Marina stuns Clive with the news that she’s ready to help stop the attack, betraying her country for a new identity and a new life. Clive becomes the go-between, relaying Marina’s intelligence to MI6 back in London. What are the odds that two lovers, running the Moscow marathon with the FSB on their backs, can save Western Europe from economic meltdown?

I love to relax with a book in the garden. Even at times when it’s raining I have the gazebo up and sit under it. Breathing in the fresh air makes me happy with a book.
Love books that are self care books such as good vibes good life, or my year of yes by Shonda Rhimes, then I life to read books on where I’m from whether that’s Manchester books on how the movement of the hacienda happened to books about my Irish heritage.
    I just love books.

A couple of years ago, over sixty Brittish Red Hatters from groups all around the country met up in Hebden Bridge for Yorkshire Day and the streets were flooded by ladies dressed in purple sporting their best red hats.

I love to relax with my gf and our 4 indoor freeroam guinea pigs, we all love a massive cuddle on the sofa!

My favourite way to relax is sitting in the garden on a summers day reading a good book and enjoying an ice-cream.

I love to relax with some chilled out music, my cat on my lap & of course a good read – usually something with a few twists along the way!

Reading a good book, reading about and searching for a good book, travelling, searching for travel information endlessly, organising trips, talking with people and sharing all these with my family – these are my best relaxation techniques! 🙂 Also, some good exercise where I need to concentrate so my mind is cleared.

I like to relax with a glass of wine and a good book. Preferably in the sunshine somewhere!

My ultimate relaxation is to take myself to a secluded and sheltered bit of beach on a nice day with a good book to read.

  115. I love to find a sunny spot & chill with my book & a hot drink in quiet moments, in the summer months this often involves a trip to the park, river or beach..utter bliss!

Perfect relaxation for me is a large glass of chilled Chenin Blanc, sitting on the decking on a rare warm Scottish Highland evening and reading a captivating book.

I love reading a good book in my nice comfy chair with a nice cosy blanket wrapped round me drinking a nice cup of tea.
