There is so much to love about Croatia but what impresses me the most is it’s positive vibes. Despite numerous wars and resulting devastation the people and country always emerge shining bright. The new and the old blend so well. The architecture, the beautiful coastline and the fabulous food ( not forgetting the wine ) also make it a fantastic place to visit and keep returning to.
When I think of Croatia, I think of my old school teacher, who got a cheap flight to Croatia many years ago and loved it so much that she now goes back every year! I’ve never been to Croatia myself but I’ve heard so much about it. The beaches and national parks look really inviting.
Wonderful beaches and old towns
It is a good central location for visiting not only the Croatian scenic sites, but also those of its many neighbours. The only downside right now, is that it is one of the most popular destinations, both to visit and live in, for Brits and when I go somewhere, I like to take in the authentic atmosphere of a place, not have it as somewhere that looks and sounds like home from home!
Beautiful turquoise sea and warm sandy beaches.
When I think of Croatia, I think of the beautiful scenery. Also, the 2018 World Cup men’s football semi-final that England lost to Croatia.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Croatia is the beautifully clear, clean, fresh water of the Adriatic Sea! I just love to float in it for hours!
Then the clean beaches, with toilets, showers, changing huts & a café, along with sunbeds & parasols.
